We went when there was no love music but would love to go when there is, I bet it is a fantastic venue
The best place for party and good live music
This review is for the Jack's on Enescu street, as there are other locations as well. This is a somewhat unusual bar. It is very small, maybe 100sq m total. There is a certain clientele, usually not very young. A lot of expats. There is something about the place that encourages people to talk to one another, to mingle and have fun. There always is live music, a piano, guitar and base, and the players encourage people to come in and sing, or play the piano, or guitars. And people do, quite often. There are also the regulars, who play or sing. The guitar and the base players are also the owners of the place. They are warm and welcoming, they make you feel at home. When the live music starts, usually at around 11pm, people might dance as well. As it is usually with bars like this, there are locals, who seem to always be there :-). Feels a bit like the show "Cheers". Drinks are a bit pricey, but not too pricey. A different kind of bar, in Bucharest, I'd say give it a try see if you like it.
